  You have to try pretty hard to spend money in certain departments. We made an appointment to have our patio door replaced. After setting up an appointment with door department online, my husband and I went in to the store. Not only did no one know that we were coming, one associate came over and began to yell. She said that they didn't do quotes for doors. I just wanted to know how much it would cost to have the door installed professionally. The only thing the associate could do for me was set up an appointment for $50 to have someone measure the door. After that appointment, i had to ask the associate 5 times on the phone for the dimensions of our door. This is not proprietary information. it is only the measurement of the door. That associate said i could come in any time. We sat in Home depot for half an hour while associates paged for help. Then we were told that no one was working in that department at 5:30 pm. We have a 3k Home Depot Credit card that we will most likely never use.
