  Recently bought an laser Phillips LED light display for my house for Christmas. Unfortunately, the item was an obvious return from a previous customer (dirt on the spike to place the light in the front yard was evident after opening the box), but I gave it a chance out of not wanting to have to go back to the store. Now the lights completely stopped working after 1 week of use and I have to return them. People at this location are nice,they deserve many stars, but the 1 star comes from Target management policy allowing previously used and defective items placed back on the shelves. This is not unique to Target, I've had the same issue arise at the big orange store (air compressor) and the big blue store (paint gun)--both home improvement stores. Unfortunately, this practice of placing untested or defective items back on the shelf is becoming common amongst all big box retailers.
